The Ohio State University Division of Dermatology, offers the latest in accurate diagnostic care. The services offered include general dermatologic evaluation, contact dermatitis patch testing, phototherapy, dermatologic surgery, Mohs Micrographic surgery and a medical Dermatology clinic for complicated or high risk patients. Chemical peels, resurfacing, vascular laser treatments and sclerotherapy procedures are performed at some locations.
The Dermatology Division has a categorical residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. During the first year, the resident completes a specially designed preliminary year in internal medicine for the dermatology resident. Afterwards, each resident spends three years learning dermatology through both extensive clinical experience and comprehensive didactic sessions.
The Dermatology faculty and residents see patients at numerous locations including The James Cancer Hospital, Martha Morehouse Medical Plaza, Stoneridge Internal Medicine Clinic in Dublin, OSU Dermatology-Gahanna, OSU Dermatology-Morse Road, Nationwide Children's Hospital and the VA Outpatient Clinic.
